In either case this is a serious issue for me, one which rather defeats the point of OneDrive as a programme. I had On Demand enabled, but and whilst it still shows my files as offline only, and the OneDrive app claims it is not taking up space, I have watched my storage space continually diminish as it syncs, and now i am back to having a tiny amount of storage free I have just complete a full erase of my entire system, and then reinstalled all of my apps from afresh, then moving my data back onto the macbook from an external hard drive, and had a vast amount of HDD space free. A process of elimination hasĬonfirmed this in OneDrive files, and the point at which this issue began was when i installed OneDrive. I have very few apps installed taking up space, and very few documents on my system, but under 'Other' a vast amount of GB being taken up. This is visible when I look at About This Mac > Storage. I have files on demand enabled, and it shows that all of the files from my Onedrive are indeed offline only (cloud symbol next to each file and folder), however they appear to stillīe taking up space on my system.
